Spinach rice bath recipe:





Ingredients:


Rice - 250 grams(or 2 medium glass rice) 

Spinach - 1 cup

other veggies - (Green pea, potato )-1 cup


Required ingredients for frying:
Cloves-4-5 
star anise-1-2
Bay leaf - 2
Cinnamon stick-1
Cardamom -2
Onions-2
Tomatoes-2
Green chilli-2 or as per your taste
Ginger garlic paste- 1 spoon
Black pepper- 3-4
Oil-4 spoon

Chilli powder-1/2 - 1 spoon(optional)
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tablespoon,
Dhanya powder- 1/2 table spoon
Coriander leave- 1 cup

Salt-for taste


To grind:

Grated Coconut - 1 small cup
Small tomatoes -2
Clove- 3 to 4
Cinnamon stick- 1 piece
Green chilli -2 or 3 
Coriander leaves-Small cup
Mint- 7-8 leaves(Optional)
Black pepper- 4-5

How to prepare:

1. Heat the vessel or Handi. 
add 1 spoon of oil. Once the oil is heated, add cleaned chopped spinach and fry for 2-3 minutes so that the raw smell goes away.


2. Grind fried spinach, coconut, tomato and other items which are on the 'To Grind' list and keep them aside.


3. Now in the same vessel or Handi, add 2-3 cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, star anise,bay leaf and fry for some 2-3 minutes.


3. Add sliced onion and green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fry.


4. Add chopped potatoes and green peas and fry them.

5. Add grounded spinach, coconut, tomato, and masala paste. and fry it. Fry till the raw smell goes away


6. Add garam masala powder, dhanya powder, red chilli powder as per your taste(optional).

7. Add washed rice,mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.



8. Add water and adjust the salt as per taste. 


9. Close the lid. cook for 15-20 min until the water drains off and the rice is cooked thoroughly.


10. If you are preparing in a pressure cooker, let it cook for 2 whistles. and serve it hot and tasty and healthy spinach rice bath is ready to eat



 This can be served along with curd or curd raitha.
