Spinach rice bath recipe:





Ingredients:


Rice - 250 grams(or 2 medium glass rice) 

Spinach - 1 cup

other veggies - (Green pea, potato )-1 cup


Required ingredients for frying:
Cloves-4-5 
star anise-1-2
Bay leaf - 2
Cinnamon stick-1
Cardamom -2
Onions-2
Tomatoes-2
Green chilli-2 or as per your taste
Ginger garlic paste- 1 spoon
Black pepper- 3-4
Oil-4 spoon

Chilli powder-1/2 - 1 spoon(optional)
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tablespoon,
Dhanya powder- 1/2 table spoon
Coriander leave- 1 cup

Salt-for taste


To grind:

Grated Coconut - 1 small cup
Small tomatoes -2
Clove- 3 to 4
Cinnamon stick- 1 piece
Green chilli -2 or 3 
Coriander leaves-Small cup
Mint- 7-8 leaves(Optional)
Black pepper- 4-5

How to prepare:

1. Heat the vessel or Handi. 
add 1 spoon of oil. Once the oil is heated, add cleaned chopped spinach and fry for 2-3 minutes so that the raw smell goes away.


2. Grind fried spinach, coconut, tomato and other items which are on the 'To Grind' list and keep them aside.


3. Now in the same vessel or Handi, add 2-3 cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, star anise,bay leaf and fry for some 2-3 minutes.


3. Add sliced onion and green chilli, ginger garlic paste and fry.


4. Add chopped potatoes and green peas and fry them.

5. Add grounded spinach, coconut, tomato, and masala paste. and fry it. Fry till the raw smell goes away


6. Add garam masala powder, dhanya powder, red chilli powder as per your taste(optional).

7. Add washed rice,mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.



8. Add water and adjust the salt as per taste. 


9. Close the lid. cook for 15-20 min until the water drains off and the rice is cooked thoroughly.


10. If you are preparing in a pressure cooker, let it cook for 2 whistles. and serve it hot and tasty and healthy spinach rice bath is ready to eat



 This can be served along with curd or curd raitha.

 Instant Ragi Dosa Recipe

As you all know that Ragi is a good source of protein, iron, and fiber content, and if you eat this you will get that full feeling and won't get any starvings in between. and thus helps in weight loss.
and its a must and favorite menu item for those who are looking for weight loss/to control diabetes level. 

There are different ways of making ragi dosa. In 1 method, we can soak urad dal, grind it and ferment it overnight. This can be mixed with ragi flour to make dosa.

Well, this takes a long time..if you have that much time, and if you haven't soaked urad dal and don't have the batter, you can still make ragi dosa instantly. and eat.

Let us see how we do that ...!!


How to prepare instant Ragi Dosa 

Ingredients needed:

1.Ragi flour - 1 cup
2.Wheat flour -  3-4 tbl spoons
(this helps dosa not to stick to tava)

3.Rice flour - 2-3 tbl spoons(optional)
4. Water to mix
5. Salt - for taste

Optional
( If you want add finely chopped onions and green chillies,carrots and coriander leaves to the batter)


Method/ How to prepare ragi dosa:

1. Mix ragi flour, wheat flour, salt, water. Add water as per the consistency of dosa.

2. Mix it in a dosa batter consistency or even a little thinner than that



=> if the batter is getting stuck to tava, add little water, make the batter thinner, and use it. 

3. Give it at least 15 min break so that batter settles down.
If you have some more time, you can leave the batter to settle down and make the dosa.

4. heat the tava and spread little oil on it.

5. and then evenly spread the ragi batter on it and cover with a lid.
(covering up with a lid helps the dosa to cook evenly and the dosa won't stick to tava)

6. after 2-3 min, turn the dosa. cook evenly on both sides.

7. Now ragi dosa is ready to eat..This can be served along with any sambar, palya or chatni.
