Karimeen fish Fry recipe | Pearlspot Fish fry | Try this easy fish fry of Karimeen at home and you will love this fish







How to prepare Karimeen fish fry:

Karimeen or pearl spot fish, green chromic fish is one of the favorites of seafood lovers.
This backwater fish has a unique flavor and it is one of the must-try for all fish lovers..

Here in South India, it's rare to be available in common fish shops and you can only get them in exclusive sea fish shops.


Ingredients:

Karimeen fish: 4

to prepare masala paste:

Ginger garlic paste-2 tbl spoon
Turmeric- 1 tea spoon
Garam masala- 1 tbl spoon
Red chili powder- 1 spoon spoon
Dhanya powder- 1 spoon

Lemon juice- 1 lemon
Salt - for taste

Method:
1. Clean the fish properly with enough water

2. Cut it in the middle or cross-layer as shown in the picture.

3. Prepare masala mixture to apply on the fish by adding items as mentioned above. and then apply it on the fish. and let it marinate for min 1 hour. If you have more time it's always good to marinate the fish for a long time in the fridge, so that the fish absorbs salt, sour, and spices inside. 





4. Later take a frying pan and add 2-3 spoons of oil into the pan.and let it heat.



5. Add the fish and fry it on medium flame. turn and fry on both sides. You can also close the lid and fry the fish. add a little more oil if the oil is drained out. Fry till 15-20 min in medium flame

If fish fry is getting stuck to tawa, you can also apply a rava coat on the fish, by rolling over the fish on chiroti rava  or medium sized rava and then frying it.




6. Remove the fish from the pan and let it drain under tissue paper.
      and now the delicious sea fish fry is ready to eat.
