How to prepare Bangada fish fry:
Bangada fish is sea fish and these are small fishes are ideal for making fish fry. Many assume that preparing fish is a complicated process. But nothing is easier than making a fish fry. If you have help for cleaning fish or if you have got it cleaned from the shop itself, then cooking fish is easy and less time taking.
Here I have shared a simple shallow fry recipe and tasty food for the foodies who like fish. since this is shallow fry, you don't have to worry too much about the oil contents in it.
You can cut the fish in cris-cross way so that you can fill masala into it and fry it.
Ingredients:
Bangda fish: 4-5
to prepare masala paste:
Ginger garlic paste-2 tbl spoon
Turmeric- 1 teaspoon
Garam masala- 1 tbl spoon
Red chili powder- half spoon
Dhanya powder- 1 spoon
Salt - for taste
Method:
1. Clean the fish properly (remove the black wastage inside the fish and wash with enough water)
2. Cut it in middle or crisscross way and also on the middle layer as shown in the picture.
3. Prepare masala mixture by adding mixture as mentioned above. and then apply it on the fish. and let it marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes. if you have more time, marinate fish for 2-3 hours or as more as possible (you can keep them fridge for marinating).
Remember the more time you give for marinating the fish...masala salt, and sour will nicely set to the fish and it tastes awesome..!!!
4. Later take a frying pan and add 2-3 spoons of oil into the pan.and let it heat. I am doing shallow fry here
5. Add the fish to tava and fry it in medium flame.
6. After 5 or 8 min, turn the fish to the other side and fry it nicely. Add little more oil if the oil is drained out.
Fry till 15-20 min in medium flame
7. Remove the fish from the pan and put it on a plate with tissue paper. and let the extra oil drain there.
Tips:
If fish fry is sticking to tava and masala is coming out of the fish.. before frying fish, roll the masala fish in a plate of rava and then fry the fish.
and now fish is ready to eat. serve the fish fry with lemon and onion slices
